As per Amy (Bride): “Brian is originally from Chicago, and before knowing Brian, I had never been. We went to spend Easter with his family in March 2024, and we spent an extra day before the Easter Weekend to explore the city. After a full day of sightseeing, Brian dropped down on one knee in Lurie Gardens.”

Florals and décor were an important element of Amy and Brian’s vision. The ceremony featured classic white blooms and fresh greenery, while the tented reception was a showstopper. Amy chose Sperry Tent’s largest tent, requiring a two-day installation to create a spacious, elegant setting. Inside the tent, you would find hydrangeas in white and soft blue, dramatic flower balls hanging from the ceiling, carefully chosen wooden chairs, charger plates, two custom bars – one on each side of the tent, and cozy lounge sets that brought comfort and style, while the royal blue floral floor wrap tied the color palette together. Every detail reflected Amy’s vision and her close collaboration with Renny & Reed, creating a reception that felt both grand and inviting.

[field title=”Wedding Cake”]
Amy wanted her wedding cake to mark the beginning of a new family tradition. She chose a timeless cake topper as a nod to her grandmother, who had a topper on her own wedding cake but wasn’t able to keep it. Now, Amy and Brian plan to pass their topper down through future family weddings. Keeping with Amy’s personal favorite, the cake itself was a simple and elegant vanilla-on-vanilla design/flavor.
