A Parisienne Inspired Brunch Wedding
If you were to get together and create a wedding based around all of my favorite things, this would be it. First off, it's a brunch wedding (I mean, who doesn't love that). Secondly, it's Parisian themed and totally perfect. From the Bride...We’re so happy with how everything turned out! When you plan most of your wedding yourself, it’s difficult (and very stressful!) to visualize how everything will look on the big day. The design inspiration we went for came really naturally to us, as they were all elements that we already loved. We went with a very organic, Parisienne theme with a modern twist. Naturally, fresh flowers and greenery were must haves. The French blue and white color palette at Colette Grande Café made it the perfect venue to tie everything together. We chose the breathtaking Toronto cityscape view from the Rooftop Lounge at Thompson Hotel to give our atmosphere a modern touch. I love crafting so including some DIYs was a great way for me to contribute personally to the décor. We created DIY himmelis and succulent shot glasses for the tables to complement the modern theme. We also scattered geometric photo frames with important memories, such as our Malibu engagement and parents’ marriages from decades ago, throughout the venue. What made our day extra special was how much love we felt from everyone. Despite not having a bridal party, we received so much help and support from our family and friends, and that meant everything to us!
