From The Bride...I think it's easy to over-think, over-do, and attempt to over-achieve in this information age where images of beautiful weddings are everywhere. But I am a strong believer that there is beauty in simple things and that a wedding is most beautiful when those you love enjoy themselves and walk away with happy memories. Basically - If everyone has a great time, then we'll have a great time. So we concentrated on finding a charming setting, serving delicious food and being supported by experienced vendors that would really make our day a celebration.

I can't begin to express how fantastic every single vendor was. Because of them, our day felt so effortless. I think that the comment most-heard throughout the day was about the beautiful venue and how delicious the food was - probably because it was cooked on-site and served as if you were dining at a restaurant! And the second comment I heard most was about how great our officiant was - I am glad we had my former boss (now long-time friend) standing with us at the altar. It was his first time officiating, but he was a natural.

Lastly, my fiance actually found many of our awesome vendors and took on a bulk of the planning - to which I am forever grateful. It allowed me time to design our invitations and learn calligraphy to address them. And is just one of many examples of how lucky I am to have married such a great partner.
