Rustic Bohemian Bridal Inspiration
Sometimes when you combine a bunch of equally wonderful ideas, the results don't always match up. But once in awhile, you create something amazing, and these photos by Kay English are just that. A touch of romance, some gorgeous florals by Reverie Made, all with a bit of bohemian style and we have one stunning springtime shoot. Pour yourself another cup of coffee and settle in for sunny sights ahead.
From Kay English... Our inspiration for this film photoshoot was romantic, rustic, bohemian. ReverieMade.com created the gorgeous pink and red floral arrangements with velvet ribbons. We used vintage props from the Green Lace Lion, which is owned by the bride, Ellen, in this photoshoot. Ellen also owns the gorgeous farm setting and the peacock and horses. We photographed as the light was going down which gave everything a beautiful golden hue. Ellen wore two lace gowns from Shehurina, located in London. Her gowns are so romantic and beautiful for photos. After the photoshoot with the details, we went to take photos next to Ellen's gorgeous horse and then went to the open field right during sunset where the "groom" lifted Ellen up and walked with her through the field.
From Kristin at Reverie Made... I love flowers of all kinds, but my favorite bouquets to make are soft and lush, joyful, and full of color! I included all of my current faves in this one: coral charm and red charm peonies; ranunculus in shades of nude, salmon, red and burgundy; red and chocolate cosmos; tangerine dahlias, and jasmine. I tied the bouquet with velvet ribbon and silk Froufrou Chic ribbon.
For the boutonniere, I paired white and nude ranunculus with peach hypericum berries and a sprig of mint. I used Froufrou Chic ribbon and left the ends of the knot loose, to give it a relaxed feel.
