From Easton Events...After seeing a Sea Island ad in a magazine, Whitney's mother planned the first family vacation to Sea Island when Whitney was a little girl. The family fell in love with Sea Island and returned year after year. One of Whitney's favorite memories is swinging with her father on the tree swing in the Cloister garden. Naturally, Sea Island was a sentimental wedding location for Whitney and Trey.
Whitney and Trey were a dream couple to work with! Their vision was clear and their relationship was rock solid. Together we created an environment that married eclectic elegance with the traditional glamour of Sea Island. We intentionally incorporated some subtle masculine elements like farm tables, zinc top tables, and neutral tones with the feminine romance of full-bloomed summer florals and tons of candle light.
Celebrating friends and family was at the heart of their wedding, and because of that, we decided to serve a wonderful all-embracing family-style dinner. Guests were welcomed to their seats with an abundant cheese and charcuterie board and later indulged in platters of local favorites. We embraced this farm to table element with our escort card display of the seasons best - cherries and peaches!
The tent design was intentionally neutral and breezy –creating a feeling of relaxed elegance. We dimmed the lights soft and low to create the perfect atmosphere for seaside dancing!
