Cozy Engagement Session with Saffron Avenue
A savored morning complete with breakfast in bed and sweet kisses - I am absolutely smitten with our SMP blogger bride Saffron Avenue and her e-sesh captured by Jenna Kutcher. Not to mention the autumn picnic fueled with wine and cheese that followed. One glimpse of the cozy gallery and you will be longing for a Sunday morning with your special someone, I guarantee it.
From Saffron Avenue... Surprisingly enough my fiance and I were actually not going to get any engagement photos taken. We both are very camera shy and also did not have it in our wedding budget. After collaborating with Jenna Kutcher on a couple past blogger bride shoots (and becoming friends) I realized that it is worth every penny and could be a lot of fun.
After setting a date, I had to come up with a unique idea for our little shoot. I thought about having it at a tennis court (where we fell in love), dressing up to the nines and creating a sultry mid-century shoot, or just keeping it simple.
That's when I realized that we should keep it personal and really capture who we are. Since I still wanted it to be unique I thought a lifestyle shoot would be perfect for us. We both work from home and are such homebodies that we started the shoot at home, in our bedroom, drinking coffee and eating pastries.

After finishing our coffee we got dressed up and had a cozy little picnic in the park, which included a bit of wine and cheese! I don't think we could have picked a perfect Fall day in Wisconsin, the sun was shining, the weather was perfect, and the leaves were falling.
We couldn't thank Jenna enough for capturing who we are perfectly. Cheers to the final 6 months of planning and enjoying every last bit of it!
