Seaside Wedding in the Hamptons

My heart beats a little faster whenever a Carmen Santorelli wedding comes my way. She's the master of portrait storytelling and this Hamptons affair is the perfect (and prettiest!) example I could ask for. From the seaside views to the dreamy floral details by Bayview Florist & Montage, this wedding, m'dears, is one for the books.

From the Bride... I grew up on the beach and so I always envisioned my wedding in a similar setting. Our goal was to find a balance between a casual beach affair and an elegant traditional wedding. As soon as Steve and I walked into Oceanbleu in Westhampton Beach we knew it was the perfect venue for our reception. Once we had the venue selected all of the details and decisions fell into place. I fell in love with the color of the bridesmaid dresses and worked everything else around that. It was the middle of spring so I wanted to keep the palette soft and pretty.

Leading up to the day of the wedding the forecast was ominous. The rain held off for most of the day, including prior to and just after the ceremony. It started to rain when we arrived at the venue and started taking photos. Fortunately, the sky not only cleared within a matter of minutes but we even had a rainbow appear over the ocean. It seemed too good to be true. We were so happy Carmen was able to capture the moment.

Everyone told us that our wedding day would go by in the blink of an eye so we wanted to ensure that we took it all in. After a year and half of planning it was incredible to see everything come together. We were surrounded by our family and closest friends and the band had everyone up dancing all night. There are no words to describe the love that we felt that day.
