Coastal Glamour: A Nautical Inspired Photo Shoot

We are seeing a new glamour trend popping up in the wedding world. Imagine glittering gold mixed with a rustic barn setting or, in this case, sequins paired with nautical infused beach inspiration. It's that unexpected sparkle crafted by Caitlin Moran, with florals by  Petal & Print, crazy good stationery and signage by Laura Hooper Calligraphy and photography by Natalie Franke that will have you spending a little extra time in the gallery.

Coastal and nautical weddings can get a bad rap so our goal with this shoot was to show that they can be classy, elegant and nautical at the same time. We let the beautiful backdrop of Chesapeake Bay Beach Club take center stage -- and tied in a few nautical nods with navy and white stripes, subtle anchor patterns and a scattering of shells. One of our favorite elements was the shimmering sequin table cloth that caught the glow of the sunset on the bay beautifully and made for the perfect spot for our couple to enjoy a toast.

Laura Hooper Calligraphy tied all of our elements together with washed wood signage that was both understated yet refined at the same time. Amie Decker brought out the beauty of our gorgeous model and in combination with a gorgeous gown and fabulous florals the look was complete.
