Peach Inspired Farm Wedding at Carneros Inn
The theme for this affair (modern, rustic, sparkle and glam, peach orchard inspired wedding) is a mouthful but the result is a seamless blend of fruit and elegance. The maid of honor and head design aficionado, Charmed Events, crafted a peach-filled soiree that we can so get behind. From Charmed Events Planning... Planning Anna and Matt's wedding is so dear to my heart because Anna is one of my oldest friends; we've known each other since Jr. High! I was also her Maid of Honor so this wedding was extra special to me. Since getting married and having a fairytale wedding was so important to Anna, I made sure that no detail was lost in planning and designing the wedding of their dreams!
When Anna and Matt decided to get married at the Carneros Inn, we quickly got to designing their modern, rustic, sparkle and glam, peach orchard inspired wedding. We begun with building a color palette of peach, mint green and sparkle gold and accented it with lace details and peaches of course...lots of them!
For the ceremony, we wanted to re-create a modern peach orchard paradise. We had boxed crates lining the aisle filled with peaches and eucalyptus leaves with a huge floral A+M piece placed at the end of the aisle to greet guests and the couple alike. Some highlights to the ceremony included Mia, the couple's labrador retriever, who walked down the aisle with the Groom and the vows that were exchanged between the couple. The entire ceremony was serenaded by talent extraordinaire, Bobby Jo Valentine. After the ceremony, guests were given satchels of lavender to congratulate the newly wed couple.
For cocktail hour, guests enjoyed drinks and merriment on the Carneros garden lawn and found their seats through personalized peaches with their names on flags. Guests were encouraged to leave a postcard for the couple, sharing their well wishes for the couples' nuptials. Custom pillows were created in the couple's color palette to further enhance the guest experience during cocktail hour while guests enjoyed guitar and singing by Bobby Jo Valentine.
The reception was as decadently gold and blush pink as can be! Glitter sequin chevron runners glistened each table, adorned with gold rimmed glassware and chargers that were accented by olive sprigs at each place setting. For the Sweetheart table, our concept was to build an indoor garden just for the Bride and Groom and Poppy's Petalworks did an amazing job of building a romantic, rustic arbor for the couple's "throne", complete with a love seat for the couple. The couple went the distance to splurge on treats for their guests, to include three wedding cakes by Perfect Endings, a cotton candy stand and Honolulu Cookie Company treats packed for each guest, all wrapped up with twine and lace. For the couple's first dance, they twirled to Adam Sandler's rendition of "I want to grow old with you". My favorite detail of the reception were the custom glass patterns that were splashed onto the walls in blush pink and peach.
