Romantic Wedding at San Ysidro Ranch
San Ysidro Ranch and its famous lavender field pretty much guarantees a gorgeous day but it doesn't get there all on its own. Behind the scenes of this affair is a team worthy of all star status. From Jill La Fleur... San Ysidro Ranch is one of the most beautiful and romantic resorts in the world, so it's obviously a perfect place (and one of my favorites!) to have an intimate wedding! Samie and Dan had a vision that they wanted to create working with the romance and the natural beauty of the property. The bride particularly loved the fragrant lavender and the floral gardens, so we used those as inspiration throughout her wedding. We created a palate of soft, romantic tones of blush, ivory, champagne and touches of silvery green in the lush flowers. Lavender sprigs, peonies, lambs ear and garden roses were prominent. The escort cards were placed in antique wooden boxes filled with lavender. A romantic crystal chandelier hung at the natural garden arch. The bride wore a gorgeous gown by Ulla-Maija called the "Laine" dress. And their invitation suite from HelloLucky complimented the soft, elegant style of the wedding.
The Bride walked up the aisle to the elegant, classical sounds of a harp and carried a bouquet of white and blush peonies infused with Lamb's Ear and Lavender, while the Bridal party carried soft bouquets of baby's breath...so utterly romantic!
We continued the soft tones throughout the reception with Tuscany silver linens by La Tavola and added some color and romance to the tables with antique place settings and blush crystal goblets by Casa de Perrin. The couple chose their favorite wedding cake covered in fresh berries made by the Pastry Chef at San Ysidro Ranch.
True love and romance filled the air at this beautiful wedding, and I loved being a part of helping to create this soft, elegant, romantic ambiance for the couple at one of my favorite wedding venues! And it was all captured so beautifully by the talented photographer, Elizabeth Messina and cinematographer, Joel Serrato!
