Spring is so close I can nearly taste it, but while we patiently wait for old man winter to slowly fade away this pastel pretty fest from City Love Photography, Flowers by Stem and A Splendid Occasion should certainly do the trick. From Tiffany Siladke of A Splendid Occasion... This fashion-focused inspiration shoot was such an amazing collaboration between some of the best Chicago-area wedding vendors. The fresh and dreamy color palette grew from our anticipation of spring and Alice Padrul Bridal Couture’s Spring 2014 Collection of gowns. Robin’s egg blue, mint, blush pink, white, and dashes of gold were the perfect palette to transform our Chicago wintry blues into colorful spring bliss!
The National Hellenic Museum, located in downtown Chicago, was the perfect venue for this shoot. The clean, angular lines of the space, along with the gorgeous floor-to-ceiling windows gave us the opportunity to get creative. The backdrop of coordinating colored ribbons/fabric and the string art “Love” sign were handcrafted by A Splendid Occasion to blend perfectly with the floral decor, sweets, furniture, and tablescape. The beautiful models were all wearing Alice Padrul’s latest collection, and were captured by Alexis Buryk of City Love Photography.
