Vineyard Wedding at Firestone Vineyard

There's something about fluffy, pink dahlias that instantly slaps a smile on my face no matter what my mood. But when they're amongst a vineyard wedding that's magazine-worthy in every single way? Well, you can consider me the happiest camper of them all. Honey Honey snapped all the goodies sitting pretty for you here!

From the Bride... I wanted to plan my own wedding because I had the most wonderful ideas for how to make it my own, and I was confident I could do it. I'm the type of person that likes to do everything solo (which can be a good or bad thing). I wanted to have a simple but classy, classic Hollywood kind of wedding, and a California vineyard was exactly what I pictured.

Although as much as I wanted to make it my own, planning a wedding by myself was incredibly difficult (although Andrew did help. :) A lot!!), especially since Andrew and I both worked and we had so many things happen all at once up until the wedding! It was a crazy time. Andrew and I ended up extremely stressed out, but I think that in the end, it was really all worth it. The vendors we picked really were the best. The food was great, the flowers were perfect, the weather, music, and the lighting, and most of all the people most important to me were all able to be there with us! It was beautiful and I couldn't ask for more. It really went by too fast, but I think that I still had moments to savor the excitement of the day. It was perfect, and I married the perfect guy! :)

My advice to future brides: Don't be overwhelmed by your family's and friends' opinions and do what you want to do! Especially if you have confidence in your own taste. As for vendors, use your gut feeling but don't act impulsively! Make sure your fiance agrees with your choices. He's part of it too! Also on the day of the wedding, breathe, enjoy, and take it all in.
