From the Bride...From the moment we stepped off the boat we knew The Haig Point Club on Daufuskie Island was the perfect spot for us. Haig Point is a magical place that inspires a sense of timelessness. The private club is located on Daufuskie Island, a 7 minute boat taxi from Harbor Town, Hilton Head Island, SC. Aside from the sheer beauty of the island and the pristine views, the biggest selling point for us was that there are no cars on the island. Guests staying on the Island are given golf carts to get around.  For us, it immediately brought a unique element to the overall feel of the wedding weekend. And it was really, really fun! People constantly tell us how much fun they had getting lost at night on the golf carts. You could literally hear the laughter and screeching tires at night as people moved from one event to another.  We practically had the entire island to ourselves.  From the poolside Rehearsal Dinner Pig Roast to the Bonfire and Smores at the Beach to the Lighthouse Ceremony to the Tented Reception. Amazing! It was a fairytale wedding weekend.
