There is wedding inspiration and then there’s wedding inspiration like this from Bash, Please and Bryce Covey. It’s the kind with gorgeous ideas that you can bundle up and apply to your big day. With a beautiful blending of bohemian details, blooms by Primary Petals and a crazy good collaboration of some of our LBB favorites including Fiore BeautyFound Vintage Rentals and Casa De Perrin, prepare to get inspired right here in the full gallery.

From Bash,PleaseWe discovered the quaint and hip Ojai Rancho Inn a few months ago and we were so excited about this property that we just had to spread the word. Prior to finding the venue, we knew we wanted to incorporate a Southwestern vibe into this photo shoot as the earthy elements of Ojai just beckoned for it. From there, we found inspiration from the geography of the venue, took in the natural views of Ojai and added in some colorful Southwestern inspired flair. We utilized an antique lace runner on the main dining table, and added lace touches to the terra-cotta pots we placed in other seating areas. The bride had her hair and makeup done by Fiore Beauty’s talented team and wore the Lita Gown from BHLDN with a dainty but colorful floral wreath made by Primary Petals. We used Casa de Perrin’s antique silverware, Navajo Collection and Amber Glassware for the main dining space to give the table an eclectic, textural feel. The napkins were each individually hand painted by us using the colors we created for the palette. Found and Yeah! Rentals provided us with a mix of tables, chairs, blankets and rugs incorporating leather, wood, kilim, and cotton that we used to create lounge areas placed throughout the property for a New Mexican feel. We designed the custom invite suite with a traditional Navajo pattern to echo the Southwestern ideas. The ranch style red wall near the pool was a vibrant backdrop to shoot the couple against (great for a first look) and a huge inspiration to us in the planning process. We had so much fun styling and designing for this shoot and so grateful for the talented team we got to work with! We are dying to get back to Ojai Rancho Inn for our next out of town adventure, bachelor/bachlorette trips or a wedding!

From Primary Petals: We incorporated a mix of native southwestern plants with bright seasonal blooms (to evoke the tangerine and coral colors). As far as native plants go, they used succulents, cactus, foxtail, oregano, and desert acacia leaves. I used the best of the late spring season for the bright blooms, such as coral and light pink peonies, icelandic poppies (mainly because it’s illegal to use California poppies here), ranunculus, tulips, stock flower, snapdragon, and pincushion proteas. For texture I added silver cone protea, queen anne’s lace (to mimic the lace element of the shoot), veronica, and feathers. When all these plants and florals are incorporated  they evoke the masculine Southwestern style, but in a more feminine, bridal manner.
