Long Beach Wedding from Desi Baytan Photography

It’s not every day a wedding puts so much pep in my blogging step, but this pretty little number from Desi Baytan Photography has done just that. From the ultra chic styling to Three Petals’ pin-perfect blooms, this Japanese garden affair pulled off the perfect blend of  modern design and timeless tradition. Modern LA Weddings coordinated the day from start to finish, and you can watch it all unfold in the full gallery here.

From Desi Baytan Photography...Vi and Tam are so in love. When I first met them over a year ago planning their engagement session and eventually their wedding I knew from the start they were meant for each other. I remember on their engagement, Vi was excited to pose for the camera and loved nature. They picked a gorgeous place up in Malibu Creek. We had blast getting to know each other. And one thing I noticed about Tam is he is very fashionable and really cares what he wears. On their wedding day, Tam wore a one of a kind custom tailored Dolce Gabbana suit. Really spiffy I might add. And Vi's gown was so perfect for her. The one thing I'll not forget about Vi are those big amazing eyes. She makes a great subject for portraits. So we began Vi's getting ready at the Hotel Maya in Long Beach which had plenty of backdrops for photos. And you can see Long Beach's skyline from there. Then off to the Earl Burns Miller Japanese Garden for their ceremony. Perfect scenery of koi fish pond, lush landscape and bathe with sunlight. It's a gorgeous place to tie the knot. Finally a fabulous reception at 'S' Fine Vietnamese Dining. And trust me, their food is to die for. Overall a wonderful wedding for a truly, madly in love couple.
