Oklahoma Equestrian Stable Wedding from Christina Leigh Events

When the bride is Christina Leigh Events, you know it's going to be a show stopper of a wedding (no pressure!). She is style embodied, and her wedding? Did not disappoint. It was pretty as could be, sweet as the beautiful blooms, and, with a few horses running around, utter perfection. Captured beautifully by Aaron Snow Photography, as only Aaron Snow could, the entire affair was what dreams are made of. The prettiest of dreams. Click here for more!
From the Bride... My wedding was truly the best day of my life, which could be a hard thing to say considering I plan wedding after wedding every year. As a wedding planner and designer (owner of Christina Leigh Events) I love my brides, grooms and their special days, but being a bride myself could not have been any more special. I am quite a perfectionist so I was not able to turn my wedding over to anyone, but I wouldn't have had it any other way. It was fun to plan, design and execute my special day first hand with my amazing groom. He is a very tall (6'6") Texan who wears his boots 6 days a week, and I am a city girl from Oklahoma who loves my pearls. Needless to say combining our personalities was so much fun at an equestrian horse stable in my hometown of Tulsa, OK.

We began setting up a week before the big day and I even used a tractor lift to hang burlap from the arenas entry. When our big day finally arrived (yes, we dodged a chance of rain) we were surrounded by the people we love most. Blair's best man was his father and his groomsmen were his two older brothers and cousin. They all received vintage pocket watches and wore tan suits and bowties. My maid of honor was my little sister and all my girls wore gorgeous BHLDN dresses for their walk down the aisle. Family is very important to us so we had 3 guest book girls, 2 flower girls and 3 ring bearers all under the age of 13. My mom and dad both walked me down the grassy aisle, framed by 24 church pews, in an open field to the sound of a string quartet. The reception was in the main arena on the property set with wooden harvest tables with garland and flower runners and round tables with lace linens and gorgeous floral arrangements. We had Mint Juleps to tie in our horse theme and guests helped themselves to a menu of fresh salad, grilled chicken, beef sliders and mixed vegetables that were all grilled on site. After dinner and the best cake (think white chocolate almond with Nutella filling --Amazing!), guests danced the night away to an eight-piece cover band... then sent Blair and me off in a vintage Ford coupe.

I can't thank the entire creative teams enough. From the rental companies and design vendors, to the entertainment and our amazing friends and family, we love and cherish you all very much! Thank you for everything! To top it off our amazing photographer, Aaron Snow, went above and beyond to capture the day perfectly! We received more images than we ever dreamed and have narrowed it down to a series of very large coffee books!
