Swedish 1920s Inspired Wedding by 2 Brides Photography

From 2 Brides Photography... Farah and Magnus' wedding and reception was held at the Botanical Gardens in Uppsala, Sweden, on the June 2, 2012. Inspired by the roaring '20s, the jazz age, glamorous parties, art deco, the Charleston and The Great Gatsby, the idea was to enjoy the abundance of the era and celebrate together with friends and family and to really let loose! Quite simply, a “more is more” kind of approach but in a super cool style and great taste. They had a glamorous champagne fountain, live oyster bar, cool jazz band and a designed smoking area — can you believe it?! Even the guests were inspired by 1920s glamor and wore flapper dresses, headbands with feathers, cloche hats, fans, feather boas, long pearl necklaces and bow ties. The reception inside the old castle was lit up by a great light designer, and all the handmade details, place cards, menus, and the flowers are were soft muted pastel tones to die for! We are so fortunate that we got the opportunity to capture this lavish wedding, not just because it was super cool, but because we had the privilege of getting to know Farah and Magnus. This awesome couple who made us laugh and very much enjoy the day.
