From Gillett Photography... Ruben and Emily had a beautiful, organic and relaxed wedding at a local winery in the Santa Cruz Mountains. After searching the entire bay area for the perfect venue that would match their style and comfort, they found Vine Hill Winery, which was only a few minutes away from the home that Ruben grew up in. The ceremony was held in the vineyards with the gardens surrounding them above. Their wedding was laced with rustic, organic details and elegance. They had large, exposed wood tables covered with burlap and lace. Ruben's sisters decorated them with wildflowers and jars of different sizes and shapes. They served food family style. Instead of cake, they chose various pies from a local organic bakery. For their decor they spent months gathering materials from local flea markets and creating many DIY projects. Their wedding was intimate and filled with love from their friends and family around them.
