Christmas Engagement Session from Studio This Is + Clementine Custom Events

It might be that Bing Crosby is crooning about chestnuts roasting, or maybe it's the yummy eggnog in my hands, or even the smell of evergreen flowing softly through my house... but honestly, we all know it's this adorable couple, picking their Christmas tree, in this engagement session from Studio This Is + Clementine Custom Events that has got the Christmas Spirit on full blast on this side of the computer. And because we are getting ready to bid farewell for the holiday weekend, we knew it was time to share this fantastic Christmassy sesh with you - so the Christmas Spirit can amp up on your side of the computer. Zack and I met in high school and have been together since (eight and a half years!). One of the best aspects about celebrating our engagement is that all of our family and friends know us, not only as individuals, but as a couple! We met in the training room of our high school gym (during fall sports season) - which is fitting because being active together has been a consistent part of our relationship. In fact, Zack proposed  while we were on a long hike in Utah over Fourth of July weekend! 

We spend a lot of time outdoors (warm or cold, rain or shine!) so we wanted to have our engagement photoshoot outside. With the weather changing, Jeremy and Katie at StudioThis Is decided to stage a Christmas-inspired shoot and we were up for anything!  The session was very fun and relaxed - it turned into a very memorable day! 

Since we are both from Chicago and we wanted to have an outdoor wedding, the Chicago Botanic Garden was the perfect location for both our ceremony and reception.  We're really looking forward to working with Jeremy and Katie at StudioThisIs this summer!
