From Altura Studio ... Scott and Zoe's destination wedding was a celebration of connection, relationship, and relaxation for the couple and about 50 of their dearest friends and family. The Sheraton Hacienda del Mar in Cabo San Lucas was the setting for three days of celebration in the early Spring of this year.
A petite pinata motif appeared throughout this wedding. Guests received their invitations hidden inside a the tiny paper burro. Apparently, some of their friends took a while to realize that a wedding invitation was tucked inside. The same motif graced gift bags awaiting each guest in their hotel room.
I'm not sure which was more fun: the barefoot-in-the-sand rehearsal dinner, or the elegant, oceanfront reception. Beautiful details graced both events, including a romantic beach bonfire at the conclusion of the rehearsal dinner.
Beside being wildly charming, Zoe and Scott are both smart and thoughtful. Theirs was the first wedding where I had heard Homer's epic poem, The Odyssey referenced in the couples vows. Their wedding weekend was a fitting tribute to the affection and connection they feel towards one another and to their dearest friends.
