Seriously, though, we know that pinks in any way, shape or form reign in wedding color palettes ... and in the last couple of years, purple passion is alive and well. Now ~ throw in a bit of vintage aqua and classic china teacups and this color combo sets the perfect stage for the perfect tea party!

Tea Party Sweet Love

the vendors ~ Meagan collaborated with Judy Bourgeois of Flora Fauna on prop selection and borrowed from both of their private collections to create the perfect "vintage assortment" of  tablecloth, tea cups, vases, bistro chairs ~ you name it!  Judy created lush floral designs out of sweet peas, anemones, pulmonaria, peonies, lilacs and David Austin roses. The bouquets were wrapped in custom vintage ribbon and lace bands, and table top arrangements created in vintage tea tins, atop stacks of vintage books.  The coconut cake and petit fours were created by Jessica Parrott of Nothing Bakes Like a Parrott, the perfect compliment to the Baxter teas and tea party theme.  Gillian Stevens of Dew Drop Designs sent one of her recycled leather, screen printed books, for use as a guest book or memory book. Lo Christensen of Lo Boheme contributed the feathery hair accessories, so scrumptious!  Hair styling and makeup application by Kate Pannill-Siersma of Head Games Salon. Black feather hair adornment and select jewelry: Silver Pear Designs, Cindy Finamore Phone: 207-737-8735.  Dress Shop: Sweet Love, Kara Wilbur Bensen. Photography by Sharyn Peavy.
