When it came to my hair, I had a very specific vision yet no one to pull it off for me. Again, I was in the same boat as I was with make up. What to do? Then as I was talking to a wonderfully talented industry friend of mine, Stacey Lyn Weinstein of Once Upon a Bride and she gave me the best idea! She offered to do a hair trial where she would teach me how to do the hair look I wanted. I consulted one of my talented friends and bridesmaid, Tracy Morrow, and she agreed to come to the trial and give it a try. It was the best decision I made. Stacey walked us through everything. She even let us document each step with pictures so we could easily reference the day of.

Tracy took detailed notes and created the essential hair product shopping list (thanks to Stacey). We went to our local hair supply store (Ricky's is great in NY) and bought everything I needed. It was so handy having the detailed instructions and pictures to reference when in doubt. Tracy and I practiced a couple times and the day of, she pulled it off perfectly. I was so thrilled! Thank you Tracy! I was so happy with my hair results that I wanted to offer her talents to all of you. You can reach her by email at tracyannmorrow@gmail.com if you would like to try her out for your own wedding day hair.

Couple of Tips...

Do your make-up while your hair is setting in the hot rollers. Keeps your hair out of your face and once your make up is done, your hot rollers will be too!

I also wanted to recommend getting a hair piece for your hair. They really help complete your look and add extra volume and drama. I LOVED mine that was made for me by Leah C Couture Millinery. Leah is so talented and a gem to work with.

LOVE that Lisa put together this round-up for us. For me, I am just not brave enough to tackle hair and make-up on my own. I also know that it isn't my strenght...so hiring a hair and make-up artist was important to me. But, I know that there are a ton of brides out there who either don't have it in the budget or they trust their own skills better than anyone else, so Lisa's ideas are really, really great!

Up next, we have a fantastic giveaway and a ridiculous fashion shoot!
