As a wedding photographer myself, I see a ton of beautiful weddings, but I really wanted something different and unique for my own celebration. My husband and I are both pretty creative people (he is a graphic designer), and have a very "diy" attitude towards most things, and it was no different for our wedding. I really wanted it to be very personal. We decided to have the wedding at my moms house, and kept it pretty casual. We did a buffet instead of having a sit-down dinner, and everyone mingled on the deck and in the house.
