Here are some interesting tidbits from the wedding...

Bride's Bouquet Flowers was made of dahlias, roses, sweet peas, raspberries, herbs, bees

Bridesmaid Bouquet Flowers were chocolate cosmos, dahlias, sweet peas, raspberries, herbs

Grooms Boutonniere was made of berries, leaves, and dahlia

Groomsmans' Boutonniere was made of dahlia, leaves, and berry

Bird Kites were used for a wedding march from our ceremony to plumpjack where the reception was held. The kites were actually used in the Olympics!

Menu Highlights included ahi tuna rolls, summer salad, environmentally friendly raised pork

The band that played during the ceremony and the "march" was a connection from me being a teacher and going on CA field trips. He was always my camp site leader and he played the guitar for my students. So I called him up in Oregon, where he lives, and he brought his family to play. My only request was "I Will" by the Beatles, which was played as we walked back down.

Hip Service played Scott and my first song via iPod: "Into Dust" by Mazzy Star; for my song with my dad: Joe Cocker's song that Hip Service sang, "You Are So Beautiful"-b/c it was the first song my dad heard after I was born.

We had a PUNK ROCK band to conclude the evening! Los Infernos from Riverside. We shaved my husband's head for the celebration!
